A. Aeroponics is a dirt-free growing method. Plant roots are suspended in a growing chamber maintained at an ideal highly-oxygenated, 100% humidity environment. Because the roots are bathed with ideal levels of nutrients, water and oxygen, plants grow significantly faster, are healthier and have a higher nutrient content than plants grown in soil.
Q. How long will my plants take to grow?
A. Thanks to the aeroponics system's ideal growing conditions your will grow in approximately half the time it would take if you were growing them in the garden. Germination often takes as little as 24 hours, and some kits can be ready for harvest in only four weeks.
Q. How long will my plants live?
A. Cherry Tomatoes and Chili Peppers will grow for six months, and you will be able to start harvesting in about 10 weeks. That gives you approximately four months of continuous harvests. Salad Greens will grow for 3 - 4 months, and you can begin harvesting after only three weeks. That gives you about three months of continuous harvests. Gourmet Herbs, International Basil, Cascading Petunias will all grow for four months. You can start harvesting your herbs and basil in about four weeks, giving you three months of continuous harvests.

A. You can begin harvesting lettuce and basil three weeks after planting your garden and then enjoy continuous harvests for months. Other herbs will take about five weeks to be ready to begin harvesting. Fruiting plants will take longer to harvest: about 10 - 12 weeks for cherry tomatoes and chili peppers.
