About Camp Quality

Camp Quality seeks to improve the quality of life for children living with cancer through unrelenting optimism and the healing power of laughter.

The camps bring together children living with cancer in a recreational camp setting, where they can participate in many of the activities they may have missed out on in the past due to their illness.

Founder, Vera Entwistle, was inspired by a similar program operating in the USA and decided to dedicate herself to establishing a similar program in Australia.

The first camp was held in 1983, and since then, Camp Quality has earned a reputation for bringing laughter, fun therapy and optimism to children living with cancer and their families.

Today, Camp Quality operates programs in every Australian State and Territory, operating more than 240 camps a year.
